Choose the most fitting operating system for your daily work with mobile tablets or handhelds. Our SCORPION models support various operating system platforms and thus any programs or apps from the respective store.

Please note that due to the design of our hardware, only one operating system can be installed and operated at a time.

Supported operating systems

Windows 10 IoT

By far the most widely used operating system for rugged tablets and handhelds. With Windows 10 IoT, you have full access to apps from the Microsoft Store and can also access in-house programs such as enterprise resource planning systems.

Windows OS Models

Android

Android-based mobile hardware is particularly user-friendly and offers one of the largest app libraries for tablets and handhelds through the PlayStore. In addition, customer-specific adaptations can be made via open-source software.

Android OS Models

Linux

For specific applications, we even install the free Debian software (version 10) for the SCORPION 10X Android model. It resembles a stable and secure Linux-based operating system that opens up a wide range of options for developers.
