The original version of the SCORPION 8″ was already tested for its stability with great success at the beginning of 2017 in a load test by handwerk magazine. Today the product isin its third generation and a lot has happened with the hardware in terms of processing performance and features.

The Rugged Tablet is built extremely robust, an IP65 protection makes the device extremely resistant to dust, dirt as well as temporary immersion in liquids. The device is equipped with Windows 10 operating system and comes with an Intel® Cherry Trail Atom™ x5-8350 processor.

With the optional barcode scanner, the SCORPION 8″ can read any 1D or 2D barcodes from goods, making it a great asset for warehouse logistics and forklift operators. The rugged tablet also impresses in other industrial sectors with its stability as well as its performance and covers all important mobile communication channels with integrated LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS or Bluetooth.

Active or passive vehicle / forklift mounts with locking mechanism are available and can be installed on forklifts or in fire trucks as well as police vehicles. This way you can operate the rugged tablet accurately as a mobile terminal without disturbing vibrations. Furthermore, an office docking charging station with various connectivity options can be ordered. The tablet is easily plugged into the socket and can be used directly at your desk or on the workbench while charging. In addition, active touch pens can be supplied as an accessory, making it easier to use for writing applications or for simple notes right on the spot.
